The Master of Arts in History program is designed to prepare elementary and secondary teachers with a broader and deeper historical understanding and to provide the graduate foundation for students who plan to teach at the community college level or pursue the doctorate in history or related disciplines. A minimum of 30 semester hours of graduate work, including six hours of thesis, is required.
