A minimum of 60 hours of graduate work in art is required in either a two-dimensional or three-dimensional studio concentration, selected in consultation with the graduate coordinator and the studio area coordinator. Candidates complete a 12-hour core and six hours of studio thesis, which is a studio and written project demonstrating the ability to solve a creative problem in visual art at a professional level.
