The objectives of the General Studies degree program are to allow students to finish their degrees in a timely manner, to allow wide flexibility in designing an intellectually stimulating program of study, and to tailor studies to meet the work requirements and career goals of students. Students may graduate with no concentration, or with one, two, or three concentrations of 18 hours each; students must have completed 90 hours of study before declaring a General Studies major.
