The MA (Philosophy) curriculum at Mount Angel is designed for qualified seminarians in the Discipleship Stage who wish to deepen their knowledge of philosophy in preparation for the study of Theology. Students complete 34 credit hours of classroom instruction combined with 2 hours of comprehensive examination, and with the option of 2 hours of thesis writing, should a proposed thesis project be approved.
