Topics include: Health hazards of radioactive materials Rules and regulations of the Radiological Safety Manual Alabama Radiation Protection Regulations Manufacturer’s instructions for the specific gauge in use This course is a prerequisite for the following technician courses: Earthwork/Base Technician Asphalt Level I Technician Radiation Safety Officer Roadway Technician Level 1 Roadway Technician Level 2
