Registration Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months' work experience in current classification, hold a current Radiation Safety certification and hold a current Roadway Technician Level 1 certification to register for this course. The course focuses on various aspects of asphalt pavement construction, including delivery, placement and compaction of asphalt mixtures, random sampling procedures, and computation of pay factors for asphalt pavements. Completion of the Radiation Safety and the Roadway Level 1 course is a prerequisite.
