The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Certification is designed to acquaint tech students with the four-step process of servicing an ADAS equipped vehicle. They receive leading-edge TOOLS FOR LIFE required for careers in vehicle and collision repair. The four-step process includes: 1. CHECK – learn about highly accurate advanced camera technology that creates a 3D model of the area around the vehicle. 2. PLACE – learn the process to quickly help the learner place the targets in the precise OEM-required location(s). 3. CALIBRATE – the learner will use an ADAS-capable scan tool to complete the calibration process. 4. PROVE – An easy-to-read report provides proof that the learner executed all steps required for a perfect calibration.
