NC3 and Greenlee teach students to understand and identify the four circuit levels and the regulations for cutting, stripping, and crimping electrical wire. Course contents include Theory of Wire Termination, common connectors and cable types, Connector crimp profile recognition and limitations, and the Use of manual and battery powered cutters and crimpers. Students complete lab activities cutting, stripping, and crimping electrical connectors on copper and aluminum wire at Series and Service Level sizes.
