NC3 and Greenlee partnership introduces students to hand bending concepts, techniques, and hand bender functionality. Course content covers theory and principles of bending conduit, STEM activities connecting math to real-world layouts, functionality of hand benders and related tools, conduit characteristics, and safety and regulations. Students demonstrate proficiency by bending conduit to make 90-degree, offset, back-to-back, and saddle bends, applying mathematics to calculate and lay out the most common bends used in the electrical trades.
