NC3 and Copeland provide classroom instruction on compressor operation principles. Course contents include Compressor Fundamentals, Air-Cooled and Refrigerant-Cooled Semi-Hermetic Compressors, Reciprocating Hermetic Compressors, Scroll Compressors, Capacity Modulation, and Causes of Compressor Failures and System Corrections. Hands-on training has students perform an inspection and analysis to identify potential causes of failure, demonstrating mechanical and electrical compressor operation.
