The Dremel Idea Builder 3D Printing certification helps students get certified in the basics of setup, functionality, operation, troubleshooting and essential design software. The program teaches students to create the connection between digital ideation and physical building, delivers project-based learning where students develop real-world skills, and teaches problem solving and teamwork while enabling teachers to incorporate real-world technology into the classroom. Standards are aligned to Common Core, CCSS, NSS, and other state-specific standards to ensure specific learning objectives. Student benefits include access to Dremel-approved equipment and easy-to-use DigiLab software, the ability to demonstrate the difference between constructive and destructive manufacturing processes, and access to Dremel and Makerspace Labs across the world.
