NC3 and RIDGID train students to cut, ream, and thread steel pipe and conduit using portable threading equipment. Course contents include the 700 Power Drive, Hand Ratchet Reamers, Heavy Duty Pipe Cutters, Hand Ratchet Threading Kit, and Safety and Use. Students identify pipe materials and sizes suitable for threading, explain thread attributes and specifications, and demonstrate safe, proper use and maintenance of professional threading equipment used across plumbing, pipefitting, electrical, HVAC/R, welding, manufacturing, energy, and medical industries.
