Detailed information about this program
NC3 and RIDGID train students in the operation of stand-mounted power threaders for construction-trade cutting, reaming, and threading of plumbing pipe and electrical conduit. The course covers proper hammer style chuck operation and integrated oiling systems, and introduces pipe and conduit types and sizes suitable for roll grooving. Hands-on labs have students use stand-mounted power threaders to cut, ream, and thread steel pipe and/or conduit, including fabricating nipple connections.
