The Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems Certification trains power users of Snap-on TPMS tire diagnostic equipment. Upon successful completion of the certification curriculum and hands-on lab exercises, certified technicians can safely and productively utilize all features found on Snap-on TPMS diagnostic equipment. The curriculum includes training materials and practical lab exercises designed to develop tire service knowledge and professionalism that are TOOLS FOR LIFE for those pursuing careers in automotive maintenance technology and collision repair. The Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems Certification includes training in problem-solving with and programming of tire pressure monitoring sensors. Training covers the description, diagnostics, servicing, and programming of the Snap-on TPMS system. Course content includes equipment safety, introduction to TPMS, TREAD Act, TPMS types, TPMS light status, communication and frequency, TPMS service, TPMS settings, testing, and resetting, programming of sensors, and advanced features of TPMS.
