North Country Community College
North Country was the Official College of the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. The College's location in the 6 million acre Adirondack Park and Olympic Region provides a perfect location for the Sports and Events Management Program. Designed in cooperation with the Olympic Regional Development Authority of New York State, this program prepares students to transfer to four-year institutions or gain employment in the Recreation, Leisure, and Sports Management field.
