The curriculum of the department of mathematics and physics is designed to meet the needs of students who expect to teach mathematics, students who intend to specialize in some branch of engineering or science which uses mathematics as a tool, students who plan to enter commercial work, and students who wish to study mathematics because of its cultural value. Academic and Teaching options are available, and all mathematics courses toward a major in mathematics must have a grade of C or better.
