The Associate of Science with a major in Health Sciences prepares students to recognize how socio-economic, cultural, behavioral, structural, biological, environmental, and other factors impact the health of individuals and communities, contribute to health disparities, and provide opportunities for promoting health throughout the life course. Graduates learn to assess and improve population health and describe issues of healthcare in the United States.
