The program in Criminal Justice offers students a focused interdisciplinary exposure to all aspects of crime and criminal justice, dealing with crime, violence, and other forms of deviance and the responses to these problems by police, courts, and corrections officials. The program prepares students for careers in law enforcement, corrections, private security, and related fields, and students are encouraged to enroll in a one-semester practicum in a law enforcement agency.
