Prerequisites: - No industry experience required! - Successful completion of the Certified Pool & Spa Maintenance Specialist (CMS) course - Pass the CMS exam What You'll Learn - Pool maintenance and water quality - Pool circulation and filtration - Electrical systems - Pool structures and finishes - Heaters and controls - Customer service Course Format Options The CMS course is 24 hours / 24 PHTA CEUs. - Online Self-Paced Course: Complete the CMS course on your own schedule with interactive videos, quizzes, and exercises. - Instructor-Led Course: Participate in a live, virtual or in-person class led by a PHTA Instructor and connect with peers in real time. Exam Information An additional registration form and $115 fee for the CMS Exam is required. The CMS Exam is 1.5 hours long, open book, with 75 multiple-choice questions. You must bring a non-programmable calculator. You must score 75% or better to pass.
