Basic Law Enforcement Training

Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) prepares students for entry-level employment as law enforcement officers with state, county, or municipal governments. NC Training and Standards requires 868 hours of training to complete BLET; Randolph Community College has added hours to exceed the minimum standards at 880 hours. Each candidate must be sponsored or employed by a public law enforcement agency prior to enrollment.
