This 30-month (full-time) and 41-month (decelerated/part-time) program of study was created for registered nurses who wish to continue their education to become a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. PMHNPs are advanced practice registered nurses who focus on the care of individuals, across the lifespan, at risk for or having a diagnosis of psychiatric disorders or mental health problems.
