The Biology Department aims to provide biology students with a foundation in the biological sciences through the study of living organisms at the molecular, genetic, cellular, organismal, and ecological levels. A student majoring in Biology is prepared to undertake graduate study, professional training in the medical sciences and allied health fields, teaching at the secondary level, or employment in an industry concerned with the biological or environmental sciences.
