The mission of the Native American Studies program is to ground students in Anishinaabe(k) history, culture, and language through an intensive study of Anishinaabe(k) and other Indigenous peoples that reflects historical and contemporary perspectives. NAS program graduates will successfully transfer to a four-year institution and/or pursue community-focused careers.
