They work in areas as diverse as aerospace, biomedical implants, energy systems, automobiles, robotics, defense, and manufacturing. Practical design skills are emphasized throughout the Mechanical Engineering curriculum, and the program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc.
