The bachelor of science in marine science is a multidisciplinary program focused on the biological, chemical, physical, and geological processes of the ocean. Students pursuing this program must complete one semester or two five-week summer terms at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. The Sea Lab is operated by the Marine Environmental Science Consortium of which Samford is an active member.
