South's Airport Ground Support Equipment Certificate program is the first publicly offered program of its kind in the United States. Students learn to maintain and repair airport ground support equipment used to service and support aircraft on the tarmac, through the college's Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology program and its industry partnerships with the Port of Seattle, Port Jobs & Airport University, Paccar, Peterbilt, and Kenworth.
