The Master of Education in Education with a secondary education emphasis in Social Sciences requires completion of 24 undergraduate semester hours in one of the social sciences fields, a professional education core, and 18 graduate semester hours of which six hours are selected from each of three social science disciplines (criminal justice, economics, history, political science, or sociology). A capstone comprehensive exam covering the three disciplines must be completed in the final semester.
