Residency Licensure - Birth Through Kindergarten

The Birth Through Kindergarten Residency Certificate program is designed for individuals currently working in a NC Pre-K classroom in a licensed childcare facility or in a public school system who wish to earn licensure certification to teach Birth Through Kindergarten by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. The curriculum builds on candidates' hands-on classroom experience by developing the pedagogical competencies needed for effective early childhood teaching.
