Practical Nursing

The primary purpose of the Practical nursing (PN) program is to provide classroom and clinical learning experiences which enable graduates of the program to obtain the basic competencies needed to secure licensure and become gainfully employed. Clinical experience is conducted in area facilities. Following successful completion of the PN program, graduates will take a nationally standardized exam, the NCLEX-PN leading to licensure as a licensed practical nurse, LPN.
