Pharmacy Technology
Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Dickson
This one-year program will prepare students to work as pharmacy technicians in wholesale or retail pharmacies, long-term care facilities, hospitals or other healthcare settings. Program instruction includes pharmacy math, pharmacology, top drugs, law and ethics, third-party reimbursement, certification preparation and clinical training. Pharmacy technicians prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
