Computer Aided Design Technology

The purpose of this program is to develop a computer-aided design (CAD) technologist proficient with design practices from concept to completion. Students will gain a wide range of competencies including basic sketching; two-dimensional manual drawing techniques; drafting standards; geometric dimensioning and tolerancing; and advanced three-dimensional parametric modeling, all while using state of the art computer-aided design software and project-based additive manufacturing with 3D printers.
