Demand for drafters varies by specialization, and nothing in the industry is more exciting than mechanical/electronic drafting. No longer are the pen and pencil the standard for drafters. Today in this field, student drafters are taught Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) and can produce industrial drawings utilized in industry to produce all types of products. All students receive instruction in both two- and three-dimensional CAD systems.
