Students learn the basic biological and chemical principles necessary to understand clinical laboratory applications. In the senior year, majors in allied health-medical technology must attend one of the hospitals affiliated with Thiel College, or any other hospital with an ASCP-approved program in medical technology, for a year of clinical and classroom work.
