TRI Alliance’s Manual Certification program is a one-day course on the code requirements for the installation of tile roofs. The course is based on the code-approved TRI Concrete and Clay Roof Tile Installation Manual. TRI Alliance certification is targeted towards both entry-level and experienced roofers who would like to expand their skills into tile. This course can also be used as a refresher for consultants, inspectors and others who want to stay up-to-date on codes and proper procedures. Participants earn certification after passing a 50-question, open-book test based on the manual. Certification is valid for two years and can be renewed every 2 years on-line. ​ Manual Certified individuals will be listed by company in the TRI Alliance Contractor Search.
