This certificate provides training in linguistic analysis, machine learning, text/data mining, natural language processing and generation, and related areas to prepare students for careers in the tech industry or academia. It is jointly administered by the Department of Linguistics, the Department of Computer Science, and the School of Information and Library Science, and is open to enrolled graduate students in related fields as well as to non-degree-seeking students.
