Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials

The operative dentistry and biomaterials program is a three-year program that awards a certificate in operative dentistry and a master of science degree. Its primary goal is to prepare graduates for careers in dental education and research through component areas of research, teaching, and patient care, with core basic and clinical science courses, research design and statistics, a clinical component in contemporary operative dentistry, and preclinical and clinical teaching experience.
