Oral and craniofacial biomedicine is a highly translational, multidisciplinary program of study that focuses on the growth, development, and pathologies of the craniofacial complex and associated physiological structures, as well as the study of disease and healing mechanisms related to these structures. The discipline applies immunology, embryology, physiology, cellular and molecular biology, pharmacology, microbiology, and biochemistry to the oral cavity and craniofacial complex.
