Sociology of Race/Ethnicity and Immigration

This certificate allows students to develop a rich understanding of two of the greatest social issues of our time: racism and immigration. Students learn the history and development of racism and immigration, as well as contemporary permutations. Students examine racism and immigration as they relate to social policy, schools, workplaces, the criminal justice system, human trafficking, and racial justice movements.
