In addition to Core IMPACTS and elective hours, the B.A. in philosophy requires 21 hours of upper-level (3/4000level) coursework in philosophy. Our emphasis is on applied ethics, law and justice, and the history of Western philosophy. Students may choose from a wide range of courses in the history of philosophy, as well as courses dealing with a wide range of contemporary philosophical questions and issues.
