Ursinus College
The chemistry department, approved by the American Chemical Society since 1959, offers specialized training in chemistry beyond the basic course that enables graduates to enter a career as a professional chemist, prepares students for graduate study, and provides a strong foundation for students planning to enter medicine, dentistry, or an allied health field. Recognizing that students have different educational objectives, the department offers several tracks leading to the major.
