Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner track prepares primary care practitioners to perform acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical, therapeutic, or corrective measures for clients in primary care settings independently and in collaboration with or under the direction of a licensed physician. Graduates demonstrate competence in managing the health/illness status of clients in primary care and in implementing the role of the primary care nurse practitioner.
