The Department of Mathematics and Economics offers four curricula of study or concentrations leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics: Pure/Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, and Secondary Education. The programs provide a foundation of pure and applied mathematics enabling employment opportunities or graduate study in mathematics, and prepare students for careers as actuaries or for teaching endorsement at the secondary level.
