The Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) is an entry-level doctoral degree program; the Division of Occupational Therapy accepted its first class of doctoral students in May 2021. The curriculum is fixed and intense, beginning in the summer with basic science coursework. The OTD program finishes with a Doctoral Experiential and Capstone, that allows the student to gain advanced knowledge and skill in an area of practice. The academic and fieldwork program requires 9 semesters to complete.
