Pre-Drama Therapy
West Virginia Wesleyan College
Drama therapy is the intentional use of drama and/or theatre processes to achieve therapeutic goals; it is active and experiential, providing a context for participants to tell their stories, set goals, solve problems, express feelings, or achieve catharsis. As a pre-professional degree combining theatre and psychology coursework, it prepares students for graduate study and licensure required to practice as drama therapists.
