Doctor of Musical Arts - Trumpet

The trumpet program at the Yale School of Music immerses students in solo and ensemble playing in repertoire from early to new music. Students take weekly lessons with Kevin Cobb and participate in weekly studio classes. The program aims to foster students’ creativity and encourage them to explore Yale’s vast resources. The intensive doctor of musical arts (D.M.A) program is comprised of a two-year residency followed by a three-year period in which candidates launch their professional careers.
