Medical Assisting
Zane State College
The Medical Assisting program prepares students to become allied health professionals who function as members of the health care delivery team. Coursework involves both administrative and clinical procedures, preparing students to take vital signs and medical histories, perform basic laboratory procedures, schedule appointments, and manage medical records. Graduates are eligible to take the national board examination to work as a Certified Medical Assistant.
