Basic research designs will be introduced, and their applications in the broad areas of practice in dietetics and nutrition will be discussed. Study designs, methods, and ethical considerations in nutrition and dietetics research will be discussed. Students will learn to identify and use appropriate information technologies and evidence-based resources to enhance their knowledge of the evolving field of nutrition.
