Advanced Health Assessment Practicum

This course serves as the companion course to NURS 5209. Emphasis is placed on the development of advanced health assessment techniques and skills common to patient evaluation and development of differential diagnoses for patients across the lifespan. Advanced interview skills, physical assessment skills, and identifying common signs and symptoms related to physical examination will be developed through lab, simulation, and clinical practicum experiences.
