Fostering Human Performance and Systems Thinking

This course builds on nursing leadership competencies for effective human resource management within complex, adaptive healthcare environments. Students will learn and integrate into practice concepts associated with human resources management and performance including nature of work, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, recruitment and hiring. Additionally, training and development, employee appraisal, and union-management relations will be explored.
