Geriatric Clients. This course provides a foundation for evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and clinical management of adult and geriatric clients with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders. Psychiatric theories, psychotherapies, health promotion and culturally sensitive interventions are examined, and emphasis is placed on the provider-client therapeutic partnership.
